CASTING IS COMPLETE FOR MOON OVER BUFFALO!

Middlebury Community Players is excited to announce that casting is complete and rehearsals have started for our February 2026 production. MCP will produce the hilarious farce Moon over Buffalo, by Ken Ludwig, at Town Hall Theater February 19–22, 2026. Moon over Buffalo is a madcap play about a pair of aging traveling actors, George and Charlotte Hay, who are touring with two plays in Buffalo, New York. Their lives are thrown into chaos when they learn that a famous director, Frank Capra, might see their matinee performance and cast them in a movie remake of “The Scarlet Pimpernel.” The play is filled with mistaken identities, family drama, and theatrical mishaps.

Stay tuned for details!

OUR MOST RECENT PRODUCTION

THE ROOMMATE, BY JEN SILVERMAN

Middlebury Community Players’ Company Be, in collaboration with the Bristol Recreation Department, presented the hit Broadway play The Roommate, by Jen Silverman, December 11-13, 2025, in historic Holley Hall in downtown Bristol. This dark comedy explores the unexpected, life-changing friendship that develops when Sharon, who is recently divorced and lives in Iowa, invites Robyn, a total stranger relocating from New York City, to be her roommate. Theirs is a powerful story about personal transformation, life transitions, love, friendship, and identity.

Kimberlee Moyer directed veteran MCP actors Sarah Stone and Jillian Torres, while the production was produced and stage managed by Dora Greven.
