WORKING Tickets on Sale Now!

The Players’ Spring Musical focuses on the hopes, dreams, joys and concerns of the average working American. Based on Studs Terkel’s best-selling book of interviews with American workers, Working paints a vivid portrait of the men and women so often taken for granted: the schoolteacher, the elder care worker, the waitress, the millworker, the trucker, the fireman, the housewife, to name a few.

Working • Town Hall Theater, Middlebury • April 27-May 7, 2017.

The original play, written by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell, Pippin), Nina Faso, and Gordon Greenberg, with music and lyrics by Schwartz, Craig Carnelia, Micki Grant, Mary Rodgers, James Taylor and Susan Birkenhead, has been updated several times since its debut in the 70s.

This newest version includes two songs by Hamilton superstar Lin-Manuel Miranda.
