Auditions for MCP Foundations’
How to Eat Like a Child
(And Other Lessons in Not Being a Grownup)

Town Hall Theater, 68 So. Pleasant St., Middlebury

Come to auditions either:
Friday, September 8th — Register at 6:30pm, start at 7:00pm
Saturday, September 9th — Register at 9:00am, start at 9:30am

Perusal script available at the Town Hall Theater Box Office, Monday-Saturday, noon-5:00pm. 802-382-9222.

Children should come only to one audition date. There are approximately 30 roles for children of any gender ages 8-13 (exceptions may be made for mature younger children with strong reading skills).

Audition Details:
* Parents will be asked to fill out and sign an audition form
* Kids auditioning will be asked to sing a scale and a short song (verse/chorus) of their choosing a capella (do not bring music)
* Kids will learn a short dance and should wear comfortable clothing in which they can tumble and move around
* Kids will be asked to read and act out a scene from the play with other kids

Directed and Musical Direction by Kerianne Severy.

Rehearsals: Beginning September 19 at Mary Hogan Elementary School. Rehearsals will begin at 3:30, but director and staff will be at school at 3:00 to meet students starting right after school at 3:00. Rehearsals will end at 5:00 or 5:30pm depending on the week. Days of the week will vary from week to week. A full rehearsal schedule will be provided prior to September 18. Note that school bus transportation from many of the outlying ACSD schools (Bridport, Cornwall, Salisbury, and Shoreham) will be available.

Performances: Friday, Dec. 8 at 7:00pm and matinees on Saturday & Sunday, Dec. 9 and 10 at 2:00pm, at Middlebury Union High School auditorium.
