“Play Date” this week – Wed., March 23

Please come to our “Play Date”!

Wednesday, March 23

7:00 p.m. at Town Hall Theater

We’re throwing a party and you’re invited! Refreshments, entertainment — AND RAFFLE PRIZES — including free tickets to A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM and other cool items!

Please join us for what promises to be an evening full of laughter and great conversations. The MCP board of directors is passionate about bringing theater to our community. We want to thank you for the work you’ve done and look forward to your continued involvement — or if you’re new to theater, we hope you’ll come to find out more. MCP has been producing shows in Addison County since 1959, and we need your help to do the work we love. Come be part of brainstorming new ideas, new shows, new people to get involved, or new teams to put together.

“Play Date” will be a casual get-together when people who are interested in acting, directing, designing, stage managing, costuming or working on a crew can come, ask questions, give suggestions, voice ideas, or just have a good time. If you’re curious about local theater, whether you’ve been involved in the past or not, this is a GREAT time to come out and meet people who share your interest in theater.

We promise there will be no pressure, no fund raising, and no commitment demanded. The Middlebury Community Players is the oldest all-volunteer theater group around. We’d love to see you become part of that, and hope you’ll join us on Wednesday.
