Set during an ostentatious wedding reception at a Knoxville, Tennessee estate, the play finds five very different bridesmaids hiding out in an upstairs bedroom, each with her own reason for avoiding the festivities below. As the champagne flows and the party rages on without them, the women discover a surprising common bond in this wickedly funny and unexpectedly touching celebration of friendship, honesty, and the things we survive together.

The production is directed by Kush Sharma, stage managed by Skylar Franklin, and produced by Jon Fenner.

Five Women Wearing the Same Dress premiered in 1993 and has become a favorite of theaters across the country for its razor-sharp wit and big heart. The play contains adult language and mature themes and is not suitable for children.
