Don’t Be Scared, It’s Only Shaw!

An evening of three humorous one-act plays by G.B. Shaw

If he were alive today, George Bernard Shaw would be hosting a late-night television show, taking aim at politicians, frauds, blowhards, and hypocrites.

The Middlebury Community Players present three highly amusing one-act plays by Shaw in August, directed by Cheryl Faraone, Professor Emerita of Theatre at Middlebury College. Sit back and enjoy as Shaw aims his wit at blustering officials, pompous husbands, and restless wives.

The shows will run from Thursday August 21 to Sunday, August 24 at the ART Black Box Theater at the Hannaford Vocational Center, 51 Charles Street, Middlebury (next door to Middlebury Union High School). The shows will be at 7:30 pm Thursday through Saturday and at 2:00 pm on Sunday. It’s open seating, and all seats are $10. Cash or check only please. Reservations are not necessary, but if you’d like to put your name on a reservation list, please call (802) 377-3540.
